I LOVE reading. I LOVE books!  I only wish we had PBS when we were homeschooling our two daughters.  What a wonderful resource.  My parents passed the reading bug on to me and I in turn passed it on to my daughters who are both PBS members.  It was kind of a rite of passage when Grandma and Grandpa took them to Barnes and Noble and bought them each their first book there.  Now they are hopelessly addicted to owning books, and Starbucks! 

I personally like to give books homes.  That is why PBS is so wonderful to me.  I adopt tattered old books and also pass on delightful newer ones that I love to read.  I read literally anything.  When in dire straits I have been known to read thru the encyclopedia, dictionary and yes, even the phone book!  What an addiction!  My newest passion is to comb library sales and yard sales and round up stray books to swap!
